Just wondering, Why won't Suse 6.4 use Xfree86 version 4.0?
Because the XFree team say it's not quite stable, and needs testing and patching before they reccomend using it for genberal purpose use. It will be on the CD, but not the default X server, you'll be free to use it, but pretty well at your own risk - keep both halves and all that :) -- James Ogley, SuSE Linux UK Ltd - +44 (0) 20 8 387 4088 @ Work: ogley@suse.co.uk www.suse.co.uk @ Home: james@rubberturnip.org.uk www.rubberturnip.org.uk ICQ: 57374251 Slashdot: riggwelter (84180) -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
