Greetings to all,
I am new to this maillist and I have a question. What version of suse is the most stable? Where can I download an "iso image" of suse?
My uses for suse will be for webhosting many domains and a mail server, DNS. E-commerce will be added in future. Also on the same note, after the install is suse secure meaning that I dont have to go and secure many functions/programs/ports?
thanks in advance, Moe
Moe, Welcome to the mail list of the best distro on the planet! (And that's an unbiased opinion ;-) I've been using SuSE since 5.3 and found them all to be rock solid. As far as features go, the latest release is 6.3 and it has the most goodies of any yet. Understand that the Linux community recently switched from libc5 to libc6, now called glibc, so versions 6.1 and prior are older technology.
