Hi, ** > I just love .asp's ... Netscape has a 50/50 chance of displaying the ** > whole damn things :/ No wonder I wear my asp2php shirt so proudly ;) ASP pages are shitty. Getting them to work reliably without dumping errors is a master art. Fortunately I normally test my pages on Netscape first so that they work ok. Did you know that the simple page:- <% do : loop %> will bring personal web server down :-) ** Netscape should *never* have *any* trouble displaying a properly ** written ASP page, because all Netscape should ever see is plain-jane ** HTML. It's still shitty. ** Now if the ASP page delivers a bunch of non-standard stuff, that's a ** problem. Unfortunately, one of those non-standard things - VBScript ** - is frequently used as a way for an ASP programmer to avoid the ** necessity of competence. VBscript is evil and should be burned. Not a single 'good' implementation of Regular Expressions.
