I tried installing 4.0 today using yast and did it ever screw up my system. For one, it would only run as root and it screwed up my fonts. Ended up going back to 3.3.6. I didn't have time to fool around with it and see what went wrong but will try it again some day. And I did try sax2 and it does work nice.
