hi all
I can't believe there is no way i can tell the kernel or modify it to: Map pci slot nr. or devicenr. to IRQ x , no matter what the bios says. After all, windows can do it, so why cant out superior OS do it, it being so "Independant" of the bios...... ??
Forgive me, but I wasn't aware that Windows could change the IRQ of a PCI device. As I understood it, Windows is still helpless with PCI IRQs (since that's all handled by the BIOS), and could only change IRQs for ISA PnP devices. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
