I am currently reworking a document by a truly superb person (who I have forgotten his name!) which goes into a 15 page tutorial on how to install the SBLive!. I can just tell you now, I got my Live Value working a treat within 5 mins last night. The article will be made public ASAP!... and if I remember over the weekend I will send you the site I got the info from. hehehe- reading this message doesn't really help you much @ the mo, does it?! :o) Kev -----Original Message----- From: Sergio Corriero [mailto:sergio.c@line2000.net] Sent: 24 March 2000 00:23 To: S.Toms Cc: SuSE Linux English Subject: Re: [SLE] Re: SBLive 1024 installation failure.. You could also apply the emul kernel patch which adds everything required to compile it within the kernel of your choice. I've done that option and it works flawlessly on my system. Can't remember where I got the patch, http://opensource.creative.com/ possibly, but I would be happy to supply it to anyone interested. Anyway, with that option, just compile it into the kernel or as a module with the following in conf.modules

# module : emu10k1.o Creative EMU10K1 drivers # Also needed for SB Live Thanks a lot. I will try the emul patch. Sergio
