1/ are you suning plian text or encryped passwords ? If encyped you need to dl and install a patch or somthing for it to work. Otherwise set you machine to use plian text on the win9x machines. 2/ on you linux samba machine you need to disable the loop back device. its some where un=der configuration. I was curious about this too. Browsable is set to Yes. My "Old" CorelLinux was seen in Network neighbourhood - but installing SuSE 6.3 it doesn't appear, despite "browsable" being enabled. Not that I need it viewable in Net Neighbourhood in my case, I'm just curious!
