I am having great difficulty implementing a REDIRECT to move data arriving on port 80 to port 3128. When I enter the appropriate ipchains command it responds that there is no target by that name, and asks if the kernel supports transparent proxying? It is the default kernel loaded by the 6.3 install and it works great, but I have been unable to recompile the kernel to recognize my IDE drives independent of the installed kernel. SuSE tech support has been less than helpful in providing a config file that will duplicate the installed kernel as a starting point even though they acknowledge that the installed config file is not correct. I have drives installed on the Promise66 udma card. Are there any suggestions as to where to go from here? I don't really want to move my squid port down to 80 as that has been identified as a problem area in the squid mailing list. Does someone have a config file that will duplicate the EIDE kernel from SuSE?
