I have the printers working on the server, ie I can print from the machine attached to the printers, and working on a windoz box via samba. But I still can't print from my workstation. I have loaded the updated lprold and am currently running the lprold from 6.2. here is the error message:

This is probably an obvious question, but *is* the queue enabled on the remote computer (it probably is, since you can print from these other computers). Does anyone know if there's a separate printer entry for printing across the network or if there's a configuration file somewhere that deals with access control for printers? One final thought (one of my usual...): could a firewall be blocking communication between the client and the print server, leading the client to think the queue was offline?
cp: queuing is enabled printing is enabled no entries printer idle
