Is the standard procedure to remove the tcl.rpm before starting, and if so, what do I do if something breaks and I need the old version as well as the new one?
rpm -e tcl # removes old RPM As far as having them run side-by-side, you'd need to configure the new Tcl to install itself to a new directory. I could understand if you're running 7.x and 8.x at the same time, but why would you need 8.x and 8.y running at the same time? -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | Kansas City, MO /\\ 816-241-2641 x121 | http://www.atipa.com _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
