(. /etc/rc.config; setfont $CONSOLE_FONT)
That doesn't seem to be working for me
bash-2.03# export CONSOLE_FONT=CONSOLE_FONT=lat1-08.psf.gz
export CONSOLE_FONT=lat1-08.psf.gz hould work. But the simplest solution is etfont lat1-08.psf.gz The tip I posted first was just a nifty trick to avoid typing the font name after you've set it in /etc/rc.config.
