I have a gateway solo 9300 laptop with 450 mhz pIII, 224mb ram dual booted with suse 6.3 and Windows 98. It will not come out of suspend mode. I'm not actually sure it's even going all the way into suspend mode as the disk keeps spinning. In any event, the screen blanks but nothing other than a full power off and restart will bring the computer back to life. I tried the 'allow interrupts during apm bios calls' option in the kernel, but it made no difference. Any other suggestions greatly appreciated. I'm going to be on a 6.5hr flight tomorrow and I may have to use windows to get maximum battery life.
