Has anyone seen a Linux program around for checking that RAM is working properly? The BIOS does a quick check, of course, but I'm looking for something more exhaustive.

MemTest86: This one is a free, comes in source which you can compile under Linux, or as executable for Win. Creates its own bootable floppy, with which you reboot your PC in order to test its memory.
Following the advice here, I've picked it up and used it already for a couple of hours. No errors found. I might run it overnight in superstress mode.
