Ok, this is probably a not-so-intelligent question but is it possible to install parts of one distribution in another? For example, install Wordperfect from Corel's Linux Deluxe distribution on an installed SuSE linux system without installing all of Corel Linux?
The filename is wp-full_8.1-12_i386.deb.
Sorry for being such a newbie at all of this :)
Not a problem :) Since this is a debian package, you need to use "alien" to convert the package into an RPM. You may have to ignore some dependencies, but it should work. If everything else fails, you can try to extract the files from the deb-packages manually (using "mc), and copy them into your file system.
