Why should those who have _no_ problems post anything?!
Isn't that the purpose of the newsgroup that the people in comfort take some time out to help the people in pain ??
I just recently upgraded from 6.1 to 6.3. It was almost painless. I posted
the experience somewhere, on this list I think.
The upgrade itself took less than an hour. I just told yast to upgrade the
system and fed it the CD's when it asked. The only problem I encountered
was that it replaced a few config files. In every case, my original files
were saves with extension rpmorig. After I spent a couple of hours in
panic mode hunting things down one at a time, I sobered up, ran updatedb,
and found the rest in a few minutes. If I had been a bit smarter, the
whole process would have taken less than an hour.
