Hi, 2 new RPMs tonight: leafnode-1.9.10-1.i386.rpm Leafnode is a small NNTP server for leaf sites without permanent connection to the internet. It supports a subset of NNTP and is able to automatically fetch the newsgroups the user reads regularly from the newsserver of the ISP. xinetd-2.1.8.8-1.i386.rpm xinetd has access control mechanisms, extensive logging capabilities, the ability to make services available based on time, and can place limits on the number of servers that can be started, among other things. There are a number of differences between xinetd and inetd. The largest difference to the end user is the config file. xinetd's config file format is more C like, and somewhat similar to bind 8's.
