The only reason to use loadlin is if lilo will not work or you do not want to use a floppy. The best way to get from linux to DOS if you are using loadlin is perform a "shutdown -r now" :) Terry Derek Fountain wrote:
Right now I'm being forced to use that bloated buggy monster MS Visuall C++ and am switching between Windows and Linux (on the same machine) a lot.
Loadlin makes it relatively easy to boot Linux when in Windows. Is there anything out there for going the other way?
I suspect not. There's not much call for getting out of Linux and into Windows!
Actually, if you've got the horse power, VMWare will make life a lot easier for you.
