this is probably a similar problem that i'm having . . . i've got a firewall and an IP masq running. before i connected it to the network, i was able to dialout using wvdial. when i connected it to the network and fired it up, the linux box can be pinged and can ping every computer in the network. however, i dial out with wvdial in the linux box, i get connected but i can't ping any computer in the Internet. i believe that the packets are being trapped in the network. can somebody just send me the command that i have to execute to make sure that packets destined for the internet are routed correctly? mac -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
