Hi, I got onto the distributor I bought it from and he also had problems. Apparantly he got the AXP version instead of the IA. Anyway, he's ordered another copy for me which I should have this week (hopefully). The problem is that the disc is either a) blank or b) unreadable.. I just hope the replacement will work! RikD

Hi,
I don't know if you still have the problem with the DVD disk or if you managed to resolve it. I received my copy (on DVD) this weekend and have exactly the same problem with the exception that I have the Bootdisks but still no luck.
I am using SCSI and reading it via a Panasonic DVD-RAM drive.
I know there is nothing wrong with the Drive because I can read other DVD disks in Windows (I can't read the SuSE disk though).
I tried reading it from the SuSE 6.2 installation I have but get "No media Found".
I was not trying to do an update, but a clean install.
I wish I had got my copy on CD now :-(
I have emailed SuSE tech support and am waiting for an answer.
Thanks,
Andy Branch

Hi,
I got the DVD Edition of 6.3, and finally got around to installing over the weekend.
Only I can't read anything on the disc.
Firstly there were no bootdisks so I tried to boot from the DVD drive, and nothing happened.
So next I used an old SuSE Bootdisk and it couldn't mount the DVD drive.
Then I tried a DOS Bootdisk to see if I could read anything, but there was nothing.
And finally I tried Win95 which can read some other DVD-ROMs and still nothing.
Do I have a bad DVD? or do I need to do something special?
Any help would be much appreciated. RikD
