I'm currently running 6.1 and expect a shiny new 6.3 package any day now.
As far as the system is concerned I plan to do a clean install. I'll
repartition and reformat / and /usr .
However, I'd like to keep /home and /usr/local intact. Particularly
personal things in home like my dotfiles. I have enough disk space to have
separate partitions for /home and /usr/local, so that's not a problem.
What I'm not sure about is how to set up existing partitions during install
so yast doesn't overwrite things. Anyone have any thoughts on the best way
to do that?
