To manage your own applications a little better I would add this: Avi Schwartz wrote:
To define which application is the default one you have to:
0. Open a KFM window and select Edit->Applications.
1. Create an icon for the application you want to be the default and in the Application tab of its properties select which mime types it can handle.
You should see a new entry in K->Personal, too.
2. Go to the mime type properties and in the Binding tab select this application from the list to make it the default. You get to the mime types by opening a KFM window and selecting Edit/Mime Types.
You can even add new MIME types if you know what kind they are and place them in the appropriate directory. -- Rafael Herrera -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
