Hello, I'm using CD paranoia to extract wav's from music cd's. I am looking for a good app to convert these to mp3. I am also looking for a good app to convert mp3's to wav so I can burn them to cd. Any suggestions?
There's a PERL script on the CD's called ripit.pl (ripit.rpm [snd]). You'll need either the Blade or Lame encoder, I got a Blade RPM here: http://www.megaloman.com/~hany/RPM/doors2.2/BladeEnc-0.90.0-1_stable.i586.ht... Works great, except for the fact that Blade is an extremely slow encoder. You also need XMCD installed for CDDB to function, but that's pretty much it. :) -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
