Care to share more details for newbie on this list? Thanks. Dennis/SG
I've just set my fonts to 100 dpi by default following the X Font de-uglification howto. The difference is remarkable. Why didn't SuSE do this for me automatically when I did my X setup? Is there a reason to give someone selecting 1024x768 or higher res the tiny fonts? I see how Microsoft's "Use large fonts" option works now!
How about it SuSE? Just a tool to make the tweak to XF86Config would be a start!
It's all at: http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/FDU.html I only did the XF86Config tweak, but that in itself changes Netscape from a pain in the eyeballs to reasonably pleasant to use. I actually did this ages ago on my SuSE-6.1 system, but forgot about it when I reinstalled 6.3. I'd of thought it would be easy to get Sax to do this automatically. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
