Hello, Just found a solution to the K-Menu display bug: If there are too many program entries to display and they don't fit in a single column, the menu will roll over to the next column and the following entries will be displayed... ..unless the .directory file has "SortOrder" defined. If the option "SortOrder" is used, the menu will not roll over to the next column but will run off off the bottom of the screen, making the bottom entries inaccessible. So to fix the rollover behaviour, remove the SortOrder line. A small oneliner to do this is: find /opt/kde -name .directory -exec perl -pi.save -e 's/^SortOrder.*$//' {} \; Cheers Koos Pol ---------------------------------------------------------------------- S.C.
