Hi, After installing 13.1 on a netbook I am getting some startup weirdness in that lightdm is not started :( I can get to a VT Ctrl-Alt-F_ and I checked /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager, it is set to lightdm. Default run level is set to 5. systemd starts Xorg, at least according to the message in verbose boot. The symptom is that the box just sits there after the last systemd message and nothing happens. When I switch to a VT, login as root and run lightdm I get the login screen as I expect. This was a fresh install of 13.1 due to a snafu with the upgrade, that's a different story. I guess I am missing something, but what? When starting lightdm in this way there are a few other oddities: - There's no drop down menu for the "power switch" in the upper right hand corner that usually presents the "hibernate" "shutdown" option - After logging in NM applet is running but tells me NetworkManager is not running, ps -A | grep Net tells me otherwise? -> restarting the network resolves the issue. Help is as always much appreciated.
