I'm not familiar with Wiki software, so my Main question is: With the wiki, is it possible to add meta title, keywords, description to individual pages or are you talking about one wiki-wide set of data?
If we want meta tags specific to single pages, we need to install an extension. That's not too hard - but of course it should only be done - if it makes sense SEO-wise and - if there are some people that actually add those tags.
Extremely right, while I have submitted a couple of meta tags for landing pages, I dont know I actually will be able to add meta tags for the whole wiki
Also I had rather write and transfer contents rather than manually adding meta tags, since that is more beneficial even from an SEO point of view.

Adding a self-removing SuSEconfig script calling rpm -e --noscripts would be an ugly but working work-around. [...] Wow. Stanislav, after all these years you still manage to scare me :) [> Stanislav Brabec and Stephan Kulow in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=310640]
Would - using and describing the the keywords in the article - adding some redirects - adding some more/better categories - write some defining and theme orientated articles on things people would search for like articles on "Email", "Server", "password manager" etc. not work as good as for search engine optimization and for the real users that are using the build in search engine of the wiki and are searching for content?
