Additionally, you should add the "Obsolete" template at the top of the page to make it clear that the page is outdated.
See https://en.opensuse.org/Template:Obsolete for the template and how it looks like.
You'll need to add something like {{Obsolete|11.1}} ("11.1" will replace the "{{{1}}}" part you see in the preview)
Dunno if I grok'd this "add" a template process appropriately:
Not really ;-) It looks like you copied the template code into the page instead of "calling" that template. The point of using templates is to maintain the "code" of the template at one place so that updating the template will update it everywhere. You can think of templates like functions in a programming language. You can also hand over parameters to templates, the syntax is (with several spaces added for readability): {{ template_name | parameter_1 | parameter_2 | ... }} Since you want to learn more about editing the wiki, I won't change the page myself, and only tell you should replace the template code you copied into the page with simply {{Obsolete|11.4}} Regards, Christian Boltz -- [SuSE 8.2] Auch die Paketverwaltung via YaST2 ist endlich einigermaßen brauchbar: Du kannst ein Paket auf ein permanentes "Tabu" setzen und - jetzt kommt die Überraschung - er überschreibt es _wirklich_ nicht! ;-) [René Matthäi in suse-linux] -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-web+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-web+owner@opensuse.org
