Hi,

The news are aggregated via RSS and updated by a cronjob. I just triggered
the update manually but nothing changed. Leaves room for two guesses:

1. The permissions are once more broken
-> @Mike: Please run the fix_permissions.sh bash script

this permission thing seems to cause trouble at least once a month. Sounds
like the fix_permissions.sh script isn't the ideal solution to the problem.

Would it be possible to use ACLs or umask together with sufficient group
permissions? If not, you should at least consider running fix_permissions.sh
at lesst every hour via cron.
