Hi, from a usability point of view I would minimize and simplify the use of icons. So I would suggest only three different icons: * software-update-available * software-update-urgent * software-update-busy software-update-busy would be used for applying updates and refreshing sources. I suggest using a different icon than process-working, becuase this icon is used for web browsers and file managers to show that the location is loading. In case of the update applet the icon is not referring to a loading application but shows some network activity. I think we all know that it is important to create simple, intuitive and easy distinguishable icons so I don`t have to explain that with any usability terms again :-) Enjoy, Martin -- Martin Schmidkunz User Experience Specialist martin.schmidkunz@novell.com +49 (0) 911 740 53-346 ------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) ------------------------------------- Novell, Inc.
