An update that fixes one vulnerability is now available.
Description:
sudo's handling of the -g command line option allowed to
also specify -u in some cases, therefore allowing users to
actually run commands as root (CVE-2010-2956).
Patch Instructions:
To install this openSUSE Security Update use YaST online_update.
Alternatively you can run the command listed for your product:
- openSUSE 11.3:
zypper in -t patch sudo-3083
- openSUSE 11.2:
zypper in -t patch sudo-3083
To bring your system up-to-date, use "zypper patch".
