Sorry, no, there are no such plans. There is unofficial build of zypper for 10.1, but an older version.
I see. Isn't it easier to keep 10.1 and SLE10 in sync? OT: The kernel is also not in sync at the moment.
The kernel will be in sync again with the next update. zypper would have pulled in almost all of YAST, ZMD and likely also other things, and we decided not to risk it.
