Hello, maybe this thread gets the "longest subject line of the month" reward? ;-) But now back to the relevant content: Am Sonntag, 4. September 2005 03:28 schrieb Carlos E. R.:

A minute ago, I wrote: [...] options snd-intel8x0 enable=1 index=0 joystick=1 [...] There is nothing broken in the kernel, no symbol missing, except the weird fact that it worked till now and it choose to complaint about that parameter with this update. Weird, but not important.
This problem existed all the time 9.3 is out - I guess you just didn't notice it ;-) and you also didn't read the release notes (the downloaded one, not the "old" one from CD/DVD) where this should also be mentioned. I entered the problem to bugzilla while SUSE 9.3 betatest already (#73747), but the only result was a discussion if the kernel or the sound people should fix it ;-)) I don't know if this problem is fixed for 10.0 :-/ Regards, Christian Boltz -- Wer etwas "Narrensicher" nennt, unterschätzt die Narren.
