Agreed again,
I'm no geek, though I need to know what happens "behind the scenes" of a
computer & Linux forces you to learn that. Even the Linux geeks in my
working environment, my mentors & teachers, state how complicated playing
with IPTables is.
IP tables for dummies is just my level. I need a firewall sure 'nuff but it
shouldn't take a month of sundays to build one.

Agreed Fwbuilder eases the pain of working with iptables
There seems to be some consensus about this here, which I would like to understand. I'm quite happy dealing with iptables like it is, and I wouldn't want to be unable to read the actual configuration in any case. So what's the point in learning yet another tool?
