Hi !
I made a small shell script(firewall) and i want to launch this script when suse linux boot and shut down this script when i close suse linux. how can i do that?
--> Have a look at /etc/init.d/REAME and /etc/init.d/skeleton. You will have to create your own script in /etc/init.d and run "insserv" to include it into the boot and shut-down process. By tayloring the script you can determine at which time during start-up and shut-down your script is called. Have a look at /etc/init.d/SuSEfirewall_* to see how SuSE solves the problem. Good luck!
