Hello to all, I have just installed SuSE Linux 8.1 Professional with postfix as a mail server for my Institute, and I would like to allow my users to use POP3 over SSL. Where can I find more info about it? Here is the summary of my current situation: I created certificate file and placed it in /usr/share/ssl/certs/ipop3d.pem, the appropriate sections of /etc/xinetd.conf and /etc/services are ------------------ service pop3s { socket_type = stream protocol = tcp wait = no user = root server = /usr/sbin/ipop3d server_args = -s } ------------------ and ------------------ pop3s 995/tcp spop3 # pop3 protocol over TLS/SSL (was spop3) pop3s 995/udp spop3 # pop3 protocol over TLS/SSL (was spop3) ------------------ but here is the excerpt from /var/log/mail ------------------ Jan 6 11:38:35 octopus ipop3d[22783]: Unable to load private key from /usr/share/ssl/certs/ipop3d.pem, host=[213.137.121.61] Jan 6 11:38:35 octopus ipop3d[22783]: SSL error status: error:0906406D:PEM routines:DEF_CALLBACK:problems getting password Jan 6 11:38:35 octopus ipop3d[22783]: SSL error status: error:0906A068:PEM routines:PEM_do_header:bad password read Jan 6 11:38:35 octopus ipop3d[22783]: SSL error status: error:140B3009:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_use_RSAPrivateKey_file:missing asn1 eos ------------------ Thank you in advance.
