Hello! I've set up a NIS Server and Client. So far everything is fine... But when I change a user's PWD with yppasswd on the client machine or with passwd on the server, my client lets the user log in with the old password... Example: User "otto" correctly installed on nisserver // --- 8< --------------- nisclient login: otto password: oldpwd otto@nisclient: # yppasswd Changing NIS account information for otto on zion.rosbach.lan. Please enter old password: oldpwd Changing NIS password for otto on zion.rosbach.lan. Please enter new password: newpwd Please retype new password: newpwd The NIS password has been changed on zion.rosbach.lan. otto@nisclient: # exit nisclient login: otto password: newpwd login failed // ------ >8 ------------------ So actually I'm searching for a way to refresh the password and user information somehow in realtime.
