Hi I remember being involved in some of the original discussion over the net about whether SuSE should become a commercial organisation with some of the people who set up SuSE. Also my original set of SuSE CDs which I showed to people at Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield University. When I told them that I thought Linux was the future of the net they just laughed at me. Nice to know that something has lasted as long as this. Last year I attended a public lecture by Ted Tso in London. He said "it's been a great ten years". Lets hope the next ten years is a good time for Linux :) I'll continue to write about it and support it as long as someone will allow me to. -- Thanks Richard www.sheflug.co.uk
