After that, you have to rename the respective files in /var/lib/YaST/patches/ARCH/update/RELEASE/patches/ from *.new or *.error to *.installed, so that YOU does not try to get them again.

I tried using yast1 an YOU for the upgrade with the same results in both. I don't believe it is a size problem as I have installed kernel updates that are much larger (20+ meg) with no problem. And it is not just 7.0 having a problem but also 7.1 for the same packages. That leads me to believe that the was corruption either in the build of the transfer to the FTP server.
