Hi! I get a solution from Ray Leach (thanks so far)! But it doesn't work! The iptables commands should be executed on the second machine (with the old IP). The server should be accessable by any client from the internet. Any ideas? Boris. Boris Kantwerk wrote: the

How can I forward all incoming requests for ports 21, 22, 25, 80, 110, 443, 995, 3306 to another server on the new SuSE 7.3-Box?
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -d $THE_OLD_IP -p tcp --dport 21 -j DNAT --to $THE_NEW_IP same for the others, just change the port number.
Will there be problems with virtual hosting (apache) or other services?
Depends, if it uses ports different to the ones above.
Boris.
