Hi Chris I have been using Webmin for a few years now as a way of administering Internet dns and mail servers running Caldera and Redhat with no Xwindow system installed. I now use it on my personal Suse 7.1 system, which it is of a great help. I have found it to be an excellent product & have never once in that time had any security breach. Webmin can be configured to have different users with various access levels, complete logging on all actions, IP Address restrictions and wrong password lockout times. Plus more. The only problem I have had with running on Suse 7.1 is that in the start and boot-up options. If I enable a service to start, quite often it will not make the required changes & I have to configure it through Yast. Not so much of a drawback when you see what other benefits Webmin offers. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to administer a Linux box easily. Regards, Jasmine On Wednesday 01 August 2001 23:53, you wrote:
