Howdy! I like to have as many as possible ports closed. Is it possible to configure X in a way that it's only "visible" for localhost/127.0.0.1 ?
Run your Xserver or Xwrapper with the "-nolisten tcp" option, or firewall deny port 6000.

Negative... If you happen to run display no :1 you'd listen on port 6001. "-nolisten tcp" is perfect, though.
