hi,
with rubygems 1.6 released, we would need to make a few bigger fixes to get the older rails versionw working with it.
1. rubygems used to require the thread library and doesnt require it anymore. rails uses mutex is some places without requiring the thread library first.
see https://github.com/rails/rails/pull/116
2. https://github.com/rails/rails/commit/abc06a2f769e6e451462460610369ccddb4525... and similar patches needs to be backported to those older rails versions.
do we want to keep those old versions around or focus on 2.3 and 3.0?
From my side, I don't see a need to keep support for Rails < 2.3. James T. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ruby+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-ruby+help@opensuse.org
