We had a poll about default menu on MATE. GNOME main menu or Mintmenu? Here is the poll http://goo.gl/hzl53V
Today is the last day (Nov 15th). The results are:
GNOME: 13 votes (34%) Mint menu: 25 votes (66%)
So the community wants mint menu as default menu. GNOME will be available to enable it.

and see the communication channels with the team. Most important for us is to report bugs, so we can fix them. Ask us what and how to test (especially mint menu since it's something new).
