I got at least 3 copies of the same post (one on each of 3 different lists), and they weight 3.9MB bytes each. This moment I'm on ADSL, so it is not a real problem; but other times I have to use a dongle limited to 500 MB/month, so heavy emails are an issue.
And I'm not the only one with such limited connections. A friend of mine is even more limited: 200 MB/month.
I understand that you people are busy, and that you can not accept outside help to administer the mail lists: but please, try. :-)
This particular people have posted earlier with big files - different user, but same domain: 1662 13-01-31 09:35 vcom-Cherry (1.5M) [opensuse-security] RE:From VCOM factory-Would you like to be the 80th distributor? 7093 13-01-31 09:35 vcom-Cherry (1.5M) [opensuse-kde] RE:From VCOM factory-Would you like to be the 80th distributor? 7094 13-01-31 09:35 vcom-Cherry (1.5M) [opensuse-wiki] RE:From VCOM factory-Would you like to be the 80th distributor? 7095 13-01-31 09:35 vcom-Cherry (1.5M) [opensuse-translation] RE:From VCOM factory-Would you like to be the 80th distributor? or other people: 1375 12-08-14 16:27 Amar ANNAG (1.4M) [opensuse-security] Clés USB publicitaire Also, list users have attached even bigger big files, without being spam: 28059 10-12-07 00:10 Sankar P (4.0M) Re: [opensuse-gnome] Evaluating GNOME related features 26422 12-11-20 22:50 pf (913K) Re: [opensuse-kde] KMAIL - why this way it is ????
