Hi All,
Google Code-in will come to an end in a few days. I would like to take the opportunity to ask feedback from people. We can discuss it from here. Personally for me, the questions that I had like to ask are this 1. How do you think Google Code-in helped us?
Well for Greek Community it was really good and got things to another level faster than normally, now all we have to do is continue as a local communitty the work of the students. The other tasks beyond the Greek communitty we made was also very good and soon I will upload the How-to Videos to thewiki along with everything else so that we provide more help to the new and average openSUSE user. For me it went beyong I imagined it would go, I really liked that and I am glad I participated
2. Where are the areas we can try to improve and how can we improve?
Well Stathis, Rajko and Matt told almost everything, all I want to add is to promote this more to local communities, since a lot of good things may come out of this. From helping to the localization of the project (finding more local contributors in order to built stronger local communities) to get more students that will benefit from GCI in all sectors (knowledge, financial, certain working experience).
A very special Thanks to Matt, Vincent, mentors and students who made this possible.
