I have seen a post on this list regarding LVM on PPC. Is it true that LVM is not supported on Power Macs?
I am was going to install SuSE on G4 PowerMac with ReiserFS formatted mirrored hard drives.
LVM works only with fdisk labels. OpenFirmware can not read fdisk labels.
Hi, Olaf, No problem, I can install ext2 /boot partition and ReiserFS root/, home/, etc, I hope this should work. However, some time ago I have reported bug in yaboot which prevents from use of such combo (ext2 /boot and ReiserFS /root).
