Hello, Yesterday I tried changing my KDE 2.1 theme and the new theme changed the dimensions of my screen. It became smaller with more black space around the outside. Anyway, I looked around to see how I could get it back to how it was but had no idea, so I restarted X and still no change. I changed back to the old theme, still no change. I restarted, still no change. So I booted the Macintosh and found that it too had the same new screen dimensions and I was able to fix the problem simply by chnaging the screen dimensions in the mac side. No why the heck does that have any effect on how SUSE runs? I don't undestand the relationship between changing a setting in OS9.04 and it having an effect in X Windows. Any ideas? And any ideas how I can adjust the vertical and horizontal dimensions from within Linux? thanks Joss -- http://www.josswinn.org/PGP_key.html
