Hi, I have been trying to use _service files in packages that I wanted to contribute to Factory. I have been following the Open Build Service documentation [1] assuming that this describes a best practice. However, my submit request [2] got declined mentioning
Found _service generate file _service:obs_scm:ntfy-2.6.0.obscpio in checkout. Please clean this up first.Found _service generate file _service:obs_scm:ntfy.obsinfo in checkout. Please clean this up first.
It seems the usage of obs_scm in tar is incompatible with factory. Should I only use obs_scm locally (in a disabled job) and submit the produces tar.xz? Or is the best practice to run obs_scm locally? Is there any general best practice how to properly build from upstream repos? Kind Regards, Matthias P.S. In case you wonder. I am aware that I messed up that set_version service spec. That I know how to fix, though.
