Hi Ralf,
I got a tip from Petr Gajdos to talk with you first about the $SUBJECT. We use Zend Framework (ZF) 1 in our infrastructure and plan to migrate to ZF2.
In openSUSE server:php:applications there is a php5-ZendFramework package containing ZF 1 which is quite old and in maintenance mode only (just critical fixes). The main development is for some time with the Zend Framework 2. The version 3 development has just started. Still we do not have a package in openSUSE for the ZF2. At least I was not able to find it.
Is there a plan to package ZF2? It would be great to have it.
Hi, I personally don't have any plans to package zend framework 2 anytime soon. I forwarded your request to the list soon and I would provide any help to the packager who wants to try. Note that most packaged frameworks (symfony, horde) have one package per component/library, not a "one for all" rpm like for zend1. That could be *some* work. -- Ralf Lang Linux Consultant / Developer Tel.: +49-170-6381563 Mail: lang@b1-systems.de B1 Systems GmbH Osterfeldstraße 7 / 85088 Vohburg / http://www.b1-systems.de GF: Ralph Dehner / Unternehmenssitz: Vohburg / AG: Ingolstadt,HRB 3537
