No, please no whitelisting in this case. Let's get back to the cause of BOTH failures: libusb Is there any point in NOT moveing libusb to /lib intead of /usr/lib ? Please, the rootfs check makes sense, so why, please, not to correct the source of the trouble? For Factory/OSS12.x move libusb to /lib, in case of errors symlink in /usr/lib (This would also work as patch on OSS 11.x, on my old 11.2 64bit system, I moved them by hand to /lib64, did a symlink in /usr/lib64, a call to /sbin/ldconfig and no program complained.) Who is the maintainer we'd have to convince / persuade to do the right thing and not the 'easy' Whitelisting is NOT the answer, at least not in this case. I invite you to convince me otherwise.
